Brief Description:  Forward skins

My log is really not up to date where it should be, but tonight, this entry is the most recent. I have a lot of catching up to do with the log.

The foward top skin was and the related hinge support and baggage forward and rear flanges were deburred, scotchbrited, dimpled, cleaned, and then primed. The hinge support was clecoed into position with the countersunk spacer on top and then the top skin was clecoed into postion.

The 804's will be riveted to the top skin now as well as the hinge support. The panel cutout that you see in picture 3 is the original panel athat I cut out. I had a replacement sent, which was cut by Bill at Upnorth Aviation and it currently is housing the avionics.

Picture #2 shows the new and improved avionics access panel that was fabricated. The first one was too small, so I made a new one.

My finish kit should arrive in Lewiston thr first or second week or March. My Grove wheels, brakes and Todd's canopy should arrive at ACS next week.
